I am offering my beloved, fully documented, 53k mile, 1972 911T Porsche Air Conditioned Coupe here today.

This 1972 911T Porsche was originally owned by Dr. William E. Dorrill of Sarasota Florida. William bought the car new on 4/18/1972 and started what became an incredible paper trail from that day in 1972, up until today. The car now resides with me, it’s 4th owner in San Francisco. This car came to me with treasures like the original Bill of Sale from 1972, Original key number card showing VIN & key code, Period brochures from Porsche including 1972 color options, accessories brochure, technical data doc, specification doc, workshop manual, etc. Maintenance Record Book with Original Owners Name, signature and address, Warranty Voucher stamped from original dealer, Chapp Porsche Audi in St. Petersburg Florida business card, Blaupunkt radio documents (4 in total), Original glass all around with stamps, Original spare time and date matching wheels, Matching California blue plates with 1972 DMV tag in mint condition, Original fuses and case, Tire inflator, Original took kit, Original jack, German Porsche paint and paper trail invoices for all work done like adjusting the values, charging the a/c, oil changes, 10k mile service, Multiple paper listings in the newspaper when the car was sold, etc. In total, there are 50 pages of service documents from 1990 back to new. The factory engine stamping and the transmission stamping can be seen in the photo gallery.

    Reason for selling:
I have owned the car for a few years and with 7 other Porsche's in my garage, I am looking to diversify my growing collection and climb higher in the Porsche hierarchy.

    Pedigree:
    1st Owner: Dr. William E Dorrill (from new – August 1987) (0 miles – 26,000 miles)
    2nd Owner: Ed Mobley (August 1987 – April 1990) (26,000 miles – 27,879 miles)
    3rd Owner: Jack Boxstrom (April 1990 – August 2000) (27,879 miles – 43,765 miles)
    4th Owner: Maria Corville (August 2000 – January 2015) (43,765 miles – 53,337 miles)

No picture of the oil filler door? The ONE thing that makes the '72 911 cooler than all the other years? :)

Ah well - hope the sale goes through. Awesome car!
