Indeed. I just don't understand these people who make an effort to make a really customized beautiful build only to park it and never ever drive it again. They certainly ARE NOT car, much less Ferrari, enthusiasts.......
Amazing! Maybe an unexpected opportunity came up for something crazier and there was no space? See above response....
this cld be the most asinine statement of the year. it's very likely the guy who owns this car is MORE of an enthusiast than you know. he also probably has a half dozen houses, a dozen to 3 dozen cars, family, and a decent size job that keeps him busy for 70 to 90 hours a week that he inst sleeping. who are you to comment on who is an enthusiast? i drive all my cars collectively less than 200 miles a year excluding the FF. I can assure you i have more feeling for the brand than you and all your compadres who make posts like urs
regardless of the motivations of the owner the build spec he created is very powerful. Starting with this spectacular Bianco Liana paint combined with Ferrari Rosso alcantara and blue carbon trim in every direction. The non-metallic Blu Pozzi for the livery is actually very subtle. Here is an opportunity to get a beautiful tailor made Ferrari tdF. It is an exclusive introduction for someone who was not chosen before. Only one person can grab this very reasonable second chance...
I have to respectfully disagree, Mark. I don’t drive my F cars very much either but that doesn’t disqualify me as a Ferrari enthusiast. Perhaps to you and others it does but not in *my* car-enthusiastic world and that’s all that matters. To each their own...
Cool down man... I think he wanted to say he had troubles understanding the disproportion between the time and passion needed to create such a unique Ferrari, and the little time spent on driving it. But you're perfectly right, no one can presume about other people' passion ... and life in general. Maybe the poor dude died accidentaly just after taking delivery... I suggest a nasty neighborhood-terrorizing ride in your great argento Tdf to relax
Maybe. I specced my tdf in about 10 mins basically over text message with my salesperson. Not complicated. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
The only issue I have with tailor made is I’d feel a bit like I was buying someone else’s minute and detailed preferences. I’m seeing so many really customised cars coming out of tailor made, some are lovely and some are (in my view) awful. It must be really tricky in the second hand market to find someone who has preferences so close to the original purchaser.
That sums up why some customers prefer the consistent red/tan color combination or red/crema depending on the country. That combination will be accepted by many potential buyers. Michael Fux was one of the first to order up multiple Ferrari models in bold color combinations like Rosso Fiorano combined with a white leather interior. As you note there is a risk in going to far in the wrong direction with color and trim choices. However some customers simply order what they like and don't care if it doesn't meet with universal approval...
When you look at the majority (at least 90%) of these cars (LaF, TDF, Apertas, etc) put up for sale, they all have delivery miles only, looks like folks who buy them and later sell them, treat them like their garage ornaments, something to look at but God forbid take it on the road. Also. I did not say anything critical about people who for various reasons (too many cars, too overworked) do not drive their cars much, my comment was directed at DELIVERY mileage cars exclusively. TTforced: you take it too personally, calm down, it was not directed at you but if you think that buying cars for the express purpose of only looking at them makes someone "Enthusiast" then more power to you, we have a different outlook at that, that's all..... Btw, kudos to you for very skillful avoidance of rules on Fchat regarding personal attacks
I have 30k miles on my ff which does EVERYTHING my tdf does sub 70 mph for the 100 percent daily driving i do. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
tdf looks better as time goes by. in the meantime superfast just doesn't cut it. probably the first car i really dislike from ferrari since the original california.
This is part of the reason I won’t buy many American examples. Somehow Red/Tan became the default boring-azz color combo here. I look across the pond and see so many great color choices, but my preference is to have the gauge cluster read in MPH (and LHD)... Oh well...I’ll just keep picking through the few examples of folks who didn’t play it safe... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Awesome car. Must have bought it to flip it. I would have put more miles on it the first day of ownership.
Cam, Does this one have that cool telemetry package too? (Can't remember what they call it ATM; probably something like "Telemetry package" DUHHHH!!! ) Seems like it should.
I agree, and in the end it really doesn’t make any difference, it’s his property and he can do whatever he wants with it. I think most of these comments are made by bitter, jealous and petty people.
