Hi Everyone, Yesterday I pulled my beautiful 328 GTS out of its winter mothballs, met up with Marc "Hedge" (328 GTS) and one of his friends, "Dem" (355) who were both taking their cars for annual servicing at Kent High Performance Cars. It is a round-trip of 250 km (155 miles) from where we live to KHPC, but I though it would not only give Hedge a ride back home after dropping off his car, but would also give me the chance to check out their service facilities and showroom. I wanted to do that because The company (in the south-east of the country, close to Leeds Castle) has recently expanded their showrooms giving 750 square metres (8,000 square feet) on 2 floors where they display up to 40 Ferraris. This is probably the largest indoor showroom in the UK dedicated to Ferrari sales. KHPC has also expanded the workshop and moved it to a new site behind the showroom. It has over 650 square metres (7,000 square feet) of floor space with 6 new lifts, engine diagnostic equipment, air conditioning equipment, an engine building shop and the retrimming department. As I no longer wish to use Maranello Ferrari as my service centre, I thought I'd take Hedge's advice and check them out. The only problem is that Marc and I are both really sick at the moment! We have both been overcome with serve colds, bordering on flu, and were not really very sociable yesterday! Last night and today I feel like death...and I'm sure Marc feel the same. Hang in there mate!! Because I was in such bad shape, my photos are cr*p...not much care and attention to detail and atrocious white-balancing...but I thought I'd post them anyway, just so that you can get a feel for the place. I also took the "easy" route in resizing them (i.e. attaching them to an Outlook e-mail) and the resolution is low and the quality a little rough. But at this stage I'm sick and don't give a damn!! So I apologise in advance The first shots are at Marc's house yesterday morning. Oh...and my car is driving like a DREAM!! It's wonderful to be back on the road, and even the 1.5 hour traffic jam on the M25 on the way back home was fine. Some people would pay to sit in a Ferrari for an hour and a half, and four years later, I still can't believe that I can do it any time I want! We are really privileged to be owners! Cheers, MARK (cough...sneeze...choke...croak...wheeze)
Same comment - I have never seen so many Testarossas in one place at the same time.. Image Unavailable, Please Login
