First time driving a 512. Omg. They say don’t meet your heroes ....or fantasy can never be experienced. They are wrong. These cars drive sublime. The steering and balance are deceptively intuitive. Steering is NOT overly heavy or sluggish. And the sound is so heavenly (Tubi precats got here from Italy in record time; Tubi precat > factory cat > Tubi exhaust) I had these grand plans of retrofitting a factory navigation and voice command system from a 599....that’s shelved I’m never turning on the radio/leaving whatever 90s alpine it has. Honestly it blows my former 328 out of the water in near every category. Everyone needs to drive one of these at least once in their life. Completely agree. I had a very similar experience between my 308 and Boxer. The Boxer is a 308 on steroids in every measure. Now you know why people try to cram a 12 cylinder into a 308. You get the best of both.
