I met the senior FF transmision progammer from Ferrari Monday past. It just so happens that the Best Man at my cousins wedding is the senior programmer for the FF. He had quite a few photos on hand including the testing that was completed at Nardo. With the testing was blown tires. He did repeat hinself many times ( I am too old for this) The goal in the FF was to use the Panamerra as the guide when the FF was being tested. typical programming is about 6 months in length. Anyway, he is pretty sure that we will see a Twin Turbo V8 from Ferrari. It is testing right now.!!
As I understand it, the Enzo replacement is far into the final stages of design, I understand they are tackling new regulations with respect to airbag size versus cabin dimensions? I understand the Engine is basically a TT 458 engine. All hearsay ofcourse. Regards Mike James
Right. Next Enzo needs to be lightweight V10 (or 12) and TT. 599 replacement could use non-turbo version.
Dang, a 458 Scud with a TT V8, how much BHP must that thing have, must be north of 650. That raises the bar for the new Enzo
