$10.18575 to be exact.
I'll buy a couple. I don't think the money will be a problem because we'll have 20 entries I know. I also don't think it will be a problem to sell 25 shirts. Our chapter just can't handle another money loosing event this year. The first one was all my fault because I didn't take money ahead of time and the box lunches.
well I'll eat the cost if need be due to my love of the sport and I don't have a ferrari to pay for so a few hundred is minimal in the grand scheme. Just got an email from a guy at Fox 4 News. Wanted to know stop locations/times so they could film us. That's all I know at this point.
Thanks, the matter was taken care of w/ help of JimS. My lips are sealed. I have never told anyone about your....
Just got off phone with Jonathan and he is all set. I've been folding freaking maps for the last 30 mins. Auto folder won't work so did it by hand.
Hey Jim, thanks in advance for all the hard work you have put in on what is sure to be remebered as an awesome day for all.
We missed you Ken! I posted some pics here, figured we could share w/ the whole board. http://ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?p=67294905#post67294905
Hope everybody had a good time. Thinking of you all while I am here trying to balance one of our customer's test sites. I did drive the Indy to work at least
New Record Turnout for the FCA DFW Chapter! 26 Ferraris and 1 Lamborghini. From walking around it seems everyone had a great time. Jim Schad did a great job running the event from start to finish. Thank you very much Jim for your hard work. I think the shorter distance and less number of stops made for a less tiresome day. Actually, the only feedback I've heard at all is to use something other than Map Quest, maybe print off from a real map. Also, to include written directions with the map with mileage marks. In the long run everyone made it where they should, so all was good. I would also like to thank all the stop hosts, including Lamborghini of Dallas, McKinney Fire Station #3, and Toskhara Arabians. The roads were great, I especially liked that 2nd segment. Thanks to all the cities that paved the roads newly for us. The non-Cheating Poker hand winners were... High Hand (3 Queens): Jerry and Susan Hawley Low Hand (9 high): Nick Romanyk and son Joker Hand: Mark LaCroix and passenger Chris Fisher (Dallasguy) Enjoy the pics. Hmm, what are you doing in the lunch pic Jim? Finally, the last pic to be taken at Sneaky Petes later that afternoon. I hope everyone enjoyed it as much as Jennie and I did.
Thank you very much for those organized this event, and generous people to offer their time & place. We had a good time, too. It's fun to tour like this, seeing other Ferrari running right by, in front, or behind you. I tried to move around to see other cars, but often ended up behind Jano or in fron of Jim's. I guess I need to learn how to move in Ferrari crowded lanes. (knowing where I was going may help, my navigator was feeling sleepy toward the end, and his only navigation was to follow others!)
Just a quick thank You to Jim for all his hard work! This years event was wonderful. Well thought-out stops great people and a few new faces. I enjoyed meeting Reid and his lovely wife and also his very clean GT4. Thanks to all and especially Easy Company for all their hospitality.
Rob & Jim, Thanks to both of you for a great event and the hard work you put in to making it so. Also thanks to everyone for being so supportive and wonderful with my son. He told me that he had a great time and I am sure it will be a memory he will long remember. Nick
Nick, after you were helping me sell those shirts you walked away to do something and your son says...."isn't my dad cool? he helped you sell those shirts"
Didnt know the best place to post, but I thought I would just put them here. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
sure are alot of pics with traffic in the background. sorry about that. was just trying to avoid going straight over on 635 and up 75. Next year maybe we'll begin out in the country.
Thanks again for all who attended. We at Lamborghini Dallas had a great time hosting the kick off location for such a great group of Ferrari's and of course the Lambo! Look forward to an even larger event next year! Jonathan Peck Lamborghini Dallas
Just the joys of living in the MetroMess. That first little road out from the horse farm was very cool -- neat find.
