For Sale F430 Cat Blankets

Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login These are the blankets I made for my cats (F430). These are made from the same materials that i made the axle boot blankets from. Made to withstand up to 1800 degrees. Its overkill but i wanted to play it safe. I have had a set of these on my car for over a month and its amazing how they are not affected by heat. The inside is a 2 inch thick 1800 degree material that i compressed to 3/4 inch so it can be wrapped around the cats and secured with a ss tie wrap. There is a slot cut out for the 02 sensor. The cats temperature exceeds to over 550 degrees with my heat laser gun. With the blankets on the laser gun reads 290. The extreme heat radiating to the e brake cables and throughout the engine bay is greatly reduced. If you wanted to, Pair this with the engine bay air flow vents i make, similiar to the Scuds, and the obvious result is lower engine bay temps.
