Are the rotors also compatible with the 360?

Will the work for a f430?

I recently did a service and its also time to change front and rear pads,

    front and rear rotors,

and also the parking brake pads.

My cost on the 4 rotors oem, front and rear pads oem, and parking brake pads are right around 2k.

I'm not neccesarily lookinig to put oem if a/m has better performance or similar.

    What would be your recommendations?

    the parts in question is
    213484 4 of them

Not sure about rotors but StopTech 1053 for 430.

    I just realized that,
so if i wanted to do front and rear pads and rotors, will the sport tech work for both front and rear?

Part numbers & cost of parts used:
    • Brembo Rotors: 182606. Same part number for front and rear. You will need 4 each. About $100 each shipped from Superformance UK.
Fast shipping. I got mine in 3 business days.
    • Brake Disc / Rotor Centering Screw: 104370. Need 4 each. Plus get 4 washers. $5.00 each. Same as above.
    • Brake Pads - StopTech Sport Pads 309 Series: 63-309-1053. Same part number for front & rear.
I ordered mine from Zeckhausen Racing website. $82.00 a pair. You will need 2 sets. It comes complete with all hardware (pins, anti rattle bracket)
    • StopTech Stainless Steel Lines: 950.03501. Comes in pairs. You will need 2 pairs = $50.00 a pair.
    • ATE Type 200 Brake Fluid = Amazon. I bought 4 liters as its cheaper if you buy 4 cans.
Would your above recommendations be enough for a front and rear complete brake job?

    Thanks for your respond.

    Ahmad,

    I'm still confused....................

My post again says it all.
Buy everything I listed on post number 1 and you can do a complete brake job on an F430.

And I dont know what sport tech is.
If you are talking about StopTech, see bullet number 3 above: "Brake Pads - StopTech Sport Pads 309 Series: 63-309-1053. Same part number for front & rear."

Also, these are for steel brakes. Remember that some 430s also have carbon ceramic rotors, optional in early cars and standard in later ones.

Very good point. Ensure you have steel brakes as this post is for steel brakes.

I want to add one thing and Im saying this because I care.

Doing a brake job is a serious business and requires paying attention to detail as if not done properly or you miss a step the end result can be dangerous, catastrophic or even deadly as when its time to stop your car it may not stop.

Brakes is of utmost important on car safety & I cant stress that enough especially on a Ferrari as its typically driven hard and spiritedly as most owners drive it the way its designed and meant to be driven.

So if someone has not done brakes before or you are unsure on following proper procedures & paying attention to detail you may want to leave brake jobs to the pros.

If rotors are not installed properly, or pads not seated properly, or pads not beaded properly or brake lines not tightened properly as I mentioned above results can be deadly.

And always remember - there is no rewind button in life.
Improper brake job is not very forgiving..........

So I always say, follow all proper procedures, and not only safety first but safety always.

You are truly an asset to this forum.

BTW, is it nice working on brakes sitting on a stool with the car on the Quickjack? I now do brakes this way and will never go back to sitting on my but!

    Hi Jim, thanks!

Yes, in my opinion the best way to do brakes is car up on Quickjacks and I use Griots Garage stool to sit on.
Very comfortable stool and allows the user to slide around when needed.

Enjoy the weekend and please be safe!

A further sign we are all getting older! It is so much more comfortable sitting on something, but when I was younger I’d think nothing of doing without. Dan, seems ages ago we were in e39 M5s!

Has anyone tried the Brembo HP2000 brake pads?
    They seem very interesting.

    Hello,
    resurrecting this once again.
Researching online it seems that the break lines for the F430 should be:
    StopTech 950.03003

But in the post you said you used 950.03501, are you sure you listed the right part?
All the website I checked say 950.03501 is not compatible with the F430
    Thanks

Hi, that may be a typo on my part.

Sorry I can no longer recall. I sold my F430 already.

I did some research and I think the right parts are:
    StopTech 950.03003 (front)
    StopTech 950.03501 (rear)

Interesting how on the rear calipers the brake lines screw into the caliper itself. The fronts use the metal tabs and for sure need 10mm and 11mm flare nut wrenches otherwise you will strip the metal insert lines by the tabs. I had a difficult time with the passenger side while the driver side was totally easy since there is more "slack" in the metal connecting line.

You will not need 3-4 quarts. I bought 2 and barely used one. You will be able to tell when the fresh fluid comes out. It did several bleed cycles past when the fresh fluid showed in the bleed hose, and I still used only one quart.
