    Hi All,

My car has been in storage for the winter and has now developed an issue with the alarm.

If locked using the key fob button, leave for a few mins and then the alarm activated by itself every time. It’s making it impossible to park anywhere !!

Battery is full and Keb Fob battery is new and I don’t see any fuse issues.

Any suggestions or similar issue experienced?

Try resetting the whole car. Turn the power off using the lever (or torx screw for later cars) to off for about 30 minutes then see what happens. Make sure you have your radio code if you have the stock stereo in the car before you do this.

Could be anything. Faulty anti-lift sensor, faulty microswitches on engine lid/luggage compartment, door open microswitches, etc. Is everything closing properly?

And are you getting the correct number of beeps when you lock the car? Now that I recall, the immobiliser will let you know if the car is not secure. That is not to say that the latches and microswitches are ok. They could be poorly adjusted or intermittent and any vibration sets off the alarm.

I’ll have to dig out and find the code before trying this

All doors close proper and windows close right to the seals, hood is closing properly too. Last service they ran the diagnostics and nothing showed in terms of sensors however not sure if they would pick any sensor issues up

ah.. ok. The flashing light indicates that everything is shut ok. That is not to say that the sensors are not adjusted properly and are close (near) to triggering the alarm. The frunk and engine lid are "closed" when the switches are open circuit. All I can suggest is disconnecting them temporarily (if they are easy to get to).

I had odd alarm behavior and replaced the batteries in the alarm siren. There are a ton of posts about batteries in the 360 alarm but not many about F430.
Mine was reading low voltage instead of ~6V. What does the LED on the left dash do after locking the car?

Original are the yellow and replaced with Surefire
