Is kinda exhaust same as quicksilver?

Quicksilver send me a video clip that is the same as the kinda exhaust clip when I emailed them to enquiry on their supersports exhaust.

well, i've seen this clip http://www.kidaspecial.com/mpeg/355_k_01.mpeg somewhere on the net before, where ppl claimed it was a tubi.

and if you look here http://video.google.com/videosearch?q=355+tubi, it states these clips are tubi, but they're the ms racing clips from above.

not the same as a manufacturer claiming its their own, but confusing none the less.

the kida special clips are hosted on their homepage, so i gotta assume they're really their's. plus they look like they were filmed in japan.

 

I am intrested in this toppic as I am considering a Tubi and cat by pass pipes for a 355 GTB 98' and ive never come across this 'KIDA' system before, is it louder or higher pitch than a tubi with cat by pass pipes? And is it manufactured in Japan? as i have purchased systems for Ducati bikes before from japan and the quality and sound for these were fantastic. So I am very intrested to now which would be the best system for the 355.

Look into the mille-miglia, it is made in australia, I have put one on my 355gts and it sounds great and often have club members comment on how great it sounds, it gets that f1/ 360 wail over about 4000rpm. It is cheaper than a tubi and bolts on with ease.

 

This could very well be the first 355 exhaust discussion on Fchat . Look at these guys go.

Yes, 16 years later, we are still after True F1 sound. The discussion is like clockwork every year .

 

The Kida Special with Y-pipe sounds pretty good suprisingly. It's got a wail on par with Capristo. Not sure if this is a 2.7 or 5.2

 

People switch exhaust on these cars?

Also u cant just change the muffler - on the 360 the cap 3 sounded benign with stock cats and headers. Once aftermarket headers and 200 cel cats were installed the capristo 3 came alive exponentially

 

My car has 360 challenge headers, high flow cats and a custom exhaust - no crossover pipe with a valve like stock. Basically each side is separate going into mufflers and out the back. I wonder how the 360 challenge headers affect power and sound.
