    US mini team out after awesome endo destroyed car
    Peugeot top two in cars
    Unusual as cars went off first
    US riders Brabec just out of top ten at eleventh and Short down in twenty fifth
    Barrera on a Honda leads overall
    Yamaha top three in the quads
    Russkies lead the trucks in their Kamaz
    lots of thrills and spills
    looks like another great series
    programming times of the shows all over the place but at least it's there

    Standing start on the beach
    The bikes were like a cavalry charge
    last year's winner in the bikes, brit Sunderland out due to injury
    US rider Brabec had a bad day and dropped out of top ten
    Peugeot still in top three
    Peterhansel on top and ,el matador, sainz in third
    Awesome scenery, ocean and dunes then into the mountains

    Running (or trying to run) in the dunes was crazy. All classes had major issues with vehicles upside down, injuries and general mayhem. Don't recall them having this much trouble in the sand. It's a shame that bandits and terrorists forced the move to South America but there are plenty of challenges on this continent.

    The new venues are spectacular
    I'm still baffled how little interest this incredible test of man and machine receives
