Well with all the new events at Crescent Classic we delayed registration, but its open now! www.crescentclassic.com
Chris, Please let us know. At $675 per person it will not cut it for us. With hotel we are talking at least $2500+ for the weekend. As an old retired fart with a fixed income I can not justify it. I normally spend $2000 to get a car safe and ready for the event. We want to have two Lamborghinis entered for the event with two drivers and a backup vehcle. Let us do the sums: Gallardo Driver: $675. Countach Driver $675. Backup Driver: $675. Prepping each car to meet safety: $2000.00 Hotel: $1300 for the weekend. Calculating all of this I can not justify spending around $10k on a single weekend. I have now become a cheapo old fart.
I am sorry you can't make it. Most of us just bring one car and can stay in a deluxe room and do 5 days at Crescent Classic for less than $1,900.00. That is about $380.00 a day including meals, Crescent Classic clothing and your hotel room. Crescent Classic is the best priced Rally in the US. (Most Rallies are between $1,000 and $3,000 a day). Ferrari of Denver provides a support vehicle with factory trained techs throughout the rally so a back up vehicle is not necassary. (The cost to make your cars road worthy is not part of the cost to attend Crescent Classic). Remember, last year Crescent Classic was just 4 days, this year we expanded to 5 days and added two new events! The actual cost went up only $3.00 a day from last year, the room rates are lower than last year, so the daily cost is actually lower than it cost to attend Crescent Classic in 2010 thanks to the generosity of our sponsors, Ferrari of Denver, Ferrarichat and the Crescent Hotel. See everyone in Eureka Springs!
GT, the cost for a couple is $1,200.00. Registration is $600.00 per person between now and May 1st, 2011 and includes all meals, events, Rallies and Crescent clothing and Crescent "swag". Room rates start at $149.00 a night plus tax. Off site accomodations are available at lesser fees if desired. We look forward to seeing you in Eureka!
Thanks for the info Chris. I'd happily pay the cost of the CC, but I'm "in between" cars right now and my other project is costing me at least a 355. GT
May or may not know this, but after completing my payment, it says "Click here to complete Registration" and when I did, I got a ERROR message saying to Contact Event Planner or something like that.....But then I received a very nice Email from you "Thanking me for Registering"......So I assume the error message is a glitch or something. Just passing this along...I thought my registration didn't go through . Mark Milam Lafayette, LA. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Deon, $2K for prep? Mixing gold dust in the gas ? This is the cheapest..sorry.... least expensive multi-day driving event you can attend....plus the people are true enthusiasts. The chance to speak and spend time with Alain D. is easily worth it. Sit back....watch Victory by Design...the Ferrari one of coarse and reconsider No shame in going on the cheap Brian
Registrations are coming in at the fastest pace ever for Crescent Classic, this what happens when you have an excellent event with great people!
Per multiple requests, I have updated the website to allow up to 4 guests for a registered participant. Register early!
Lucky for him, I was prepared to go by his house tomorrow with all six episodes of Victory By Design. I was going to make him watch them over and over again until he registered. I know I am looking forward to the event this year.
Zach, My support vehicle this year will be the halve of a Gallardo. "Victory By Design" does not cover it. (Guess what it is but I do need you to give it a good going over). I was just trying to save some money from Chris. Keep in mind I am an old retired ...
I will be in Arkansas soon! Working on an entirely new route for the Friday Rally! Our good friend, Thomas is taking a day to give us some local knowledge of some obscure routes! Only 6 months away!
