Hello together, I'm again busy with sorting old pictures on my harddrive and just stumbled across pictures of a crashed 328 GTS, which I found in an exhibition in a local car museum some years ago. The display -see first picture- also shows an old newspaper article which refers to italian actress Monica Bellucci. But unfortunately I missed taking a picture of the article itself and I cannot remember the context. Does anyone know more? Or know a starting point to do research, whether this was actually a celebrity car. And I found it interesting, that obviously someone took away the steering column with the VIN-plate. I hope, that it's not found in another car, which needed a new VIN for certain reasons. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login Best from Germany Martin
That vehicle is identical to mine except for the small dents. Better go check my garage to verify mine is still there.
Few years ago, She actually looks like she would wreck your car and maybe laugh about it Image Unavailable, Please Login
I saw pictures of this car years ago but also without knowing the S/N and the "Autosammlung Steim" museum doesn't want disclose the information "as usual"... They may be know more because the display introduce the car as a "1980 328GTS with 3 liter engine and 227 HP" ! Another photo show an rear window defrost, so could be an original japanese 328 ? It doesn't look like an US car
Absolutely correct. I am amazed, that a museum writes so much BS: Image Unavailable, Please Login Best Martin
Image Unavailable, Please Login This is Monica Bellucci in a very fanous Helmut Newton picture (1994), done for the high end Italian fashion firm "Blumarine", located here in Carpi, Modena area. Never heard about a Monica Bellucci car crash in a Ferrari 328 before.
Nice pic, though I admire Helmut Newton more for his high-contrast black and white photo artwork. I have a trivial theory regarding my initial post. Around year 2010 -I took my pic in early 2011- Monica Bellucci expressed a quote, which was intensely exploited by the yellow press afterwards. She said -in rough translation- "Beauty is like driving a Ferrari. If you don't know how to handle it, the car will get so fast, that you hit a wall". Maybe the owner of the car collection found, that this fits his 328 GTS crash display. Meanwhile the newspaper article has disappeared from the display. Best from Germany Martin
