You have managed to make F1 more boring than NASCAR!

Great achievement - I'm sure it took lots of neglect and not giving a rat's a$$ to get us here. Never thought I'd want Slimy Bernie back.

    Well done - great milestone.

Went to the F1 website, read the results, deleted the recording from the DVR, maybe I'll watch Indy qualifying.

I cannot see what people find wrong with F1.

F1 is high-tech racing, not Play Station.

This year, in the middle of a pandemic, the FIA and Liberty sitll manage to organise a thrilling championship.

The races are interesting, there is suspense with tyre wear almost every weekend and changes of winners.

    What there is to complain?

I watched the F1 race. Your plan was better. It was a yawn fest.

F2, WEC, and Indy Quali far more entertaining.

Marco Andretti did a great job putting his car on Pole! A cool moment.

F1 is a snail crawling on a straight razor. This is my dream. This is my nightmare.

    Yawn feast ?????
What with Perez and Stroll fighting for 4th and 5th,
Vettel fighting to hold onto 7th from a single pit stop,
The closeness of the mid field, with up to 7 cars back to back to back....

Yes, the top 3 were a yawn feast--the rest of the runners were something else.

At least we agree re: top three.

I think I would like to attend a yawn feast. Eat until I am sleepy, then sleep until I am hungry.

Yes, some of the "best of the rest" jousting was intriguing. Seb's team radio re: one-stop strategy a little saddening. Chuck's PU failure worrisome. Albon possibly chosen as the RBR Hard Tyre test dummy. But really, after the first laps, the front runner pace was so immediately and decidedly pivotal, not much was in question. The standings becoming more stratified well before the race is over.

Perhaps I am jaded, but we had a festival of yawns. Our breakfast was was good though (perhaps we had a feast too).

    This. Spot on.

As to the OP I say:

Yes, kudos and Bravo to the F1 organizers for making this season happen despite all the nay sayers and the entire world in Covid lockdown. Bravo, bravo, bravo!

And this season is getting better with every race, so many different tracks we haven't had before or haven't seen for a long time. Awesome!

There always have been close fights for 8th. It´s just that sometimes we missed them because we were watching close fights for 1st.

Anyway, I think that the harm is already done: the COVID was there, the rules have been set years ago, and the Mercedes dominance didn´t start this season, so complaining over and over again about the same things won´t change anything. And those who say that this is a great season and that there are "lots of different winners" and so on can **** off too: we´re not dumb either.

Yes. Undoubtedly Netflix will do a super job compiling all the 2020 footage into multiple episodes portraying riveting battles for 7th/8th/9th.

Although I must say that watching Max split up the total dominance of the Mercs is . . . . . a little bit fun.

Dull as could be, F1 sucks this year almost as much as the year 2020 sucks. Want to watch racing watch MotoGP, want to go to a parade, watch F1. As a lifetime fan since 1974, it has reached an all time low this year, with the rules freeze, next year promises to be more of the same. Glad I left for a 2 hour mountain hike with the family when I turned it off with 20 laps to go. Watched the remaining laps of the race this afternoon and want that half hour back. God I hope 2022 is better.

The dna was more aligned with motoGP. Politcal corectness with loss of grid girls was bad enough. The whole in your face race as one racism thing is over the top. Just let me watch guys with big balls do dangerous things. I don't need the rest of the BS.
