Cannes to Nice to Monaco by Taxi?

    I'm on a Royal Caribbean cruise and will be in Cannes on Tuesday. I want to go to Nice, Monte Carlo, Monaco etc but don't want to take the tourist bus that Royal Caribbean is suggesting. Is it possible to hire a taxi for the day? Can I use the same taxi all day or do I have to change in every city? Would it be expensive to hire a taxi for the entire day?

    I'm sure you could arrange with a taxi driver to stay with you all day. North of 300euros for the day would be my GUESS (written large to emphasise).
    How's your french, can you explain to him what you want?

    Might want to look at a limo service for the day instead of a taxi.

    I just Googled quickly "limo service Cannes".

    For 7 hours in an E Class Merc limo on Tuesday, max 140km travel, pick up at a Cannes Hotel cost was 378euros.

    The same in an S class was 578euro

    Holy cow! That's the same as the cost of a one week cruise of the Caribbean out of New Orleans!!

    I think that if you are able ,rent a scooter it is fantastic on that roads,also for traffik!I stay in SaintRaphael some time and go to Cannes over corniche de L'Esterel road, it's one of the best road in the world!!!
