http://autos.ca.msn.com/photos/gallery.aspx?cp-documentid=23717223&page=8 Funny article on MSN about cars wrecked by mechanics. IIRC a FoO mechanic wrapped a new 360 around a pole a few years ago on Pine Valley/Hwy 7 in Dudebridge.
"Car: Bugatti EB110 Location: The Netherlands Description: As a part of its annual checkup, a mechanic was road-testing this supercar. He lost control on a slippery road and crashed into a pole. The owner of the car is Emile Ratelband, a famous motivational speaker and "feel good" guru." There you see: All you have to do is tell others that they should be motivated and feel good about themselves (which most people do, anyway) and you could be sitting in one of those!!!....
Another car wrecked by the mechanic. This guys other car must be a Subaru...check the license plate! BTW - Tallin is a great place to visit. Went there every 3rd weekend by Helicopter (18 minutes) from Helsinki when I was working there in 2003/2004. Cost of living was about 1/5th compared to Helsinki. A Euro 30 haircut in Helsinki cost Euro 6 in Tallin, with a fantastic head massage by the attractive "barberette" thrown in for free.....wow! Image Unavailable, Please Login
I think I'll get one of these each for my Volvo and Subaru: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=b9XAC-BvUyo
Last year I got a call twice from this guy and wanted to sell us "Italian Serengeti Sunglasses" with our company logo on them and I kept saying no thank you but I found his relentless pitching so funny I humoured him and let him talk. Well that was last year. I just had a chick from the same company call and the same thing went on especially that I was laughing at her pitching. My cordless died while talking to her so no guilt in not hanging up on her Anyways, did some google search on them just for sh*ts and giggles, interesting things come up on them about scams etc. They are called the Trillium Sales Group http://trilliumsalesgroup.com and the sunglasses, WOW are they special (HAHA) http://www.sg2sun.com/ Anyways, check this out: http://trilliumsalesgroup.com/products/SportsampLeisure/SportsandLeisure/BelzigSurvivor13.html Hmmmm I wonder if Ferrari knows about this and if they have used the name with permission.................... Chris
An Italian Swiss Army knife made in China!...... They are almost as nice as those "Lamborghini" pens and flashlights from the Gas station! LOL How do the Chinese get away with counterfitting this stuff?
Re: How do the Chinese get away with counterfitting this stuff? They learned from the Americans and the Japanese of the past century
They just had this on CNN, how the Chinese products have taken over the world. The special was because they just opened a "Dragon Mart" in Dubai, which is a 1 mile long mall purely and solely based on Chinese products. In it that they say the Chinese actually need these products because the economy depends so much on it, and they might just implode if they don't produce these very low cost items. Brand new Blackberry's for 100USD! http://cnn.com/video/?/video/world/2010/04/13/grant.uae.dragonmart.cnn
Problemo has been resolved! http://i109.photobucket.com/albums/n54/TK_Photo/Picturecopy.jpg Very very happy with my purchase and will make for one cool piece in my collection.
I collect these as well...or any combination of bills adding up to the same or higher amounts! Are they out of circulation? When I sold my 911 in '97 the buyer paid in part with 6 of these, and I had to go to the bank to exchange them, via my account...
They are still legal and can be used but are not printed anymore. Any $1000 a bank gets now they must take and return it to the mint where they burn it. They get rarer and scarcer slowly and am looking to add a few more and have a sequential set. That can be R.O.I like woah! I collect them as well and if someone offered me this amount in another assortment of bills I would be inclined to take it as well .
Att Fellow Canadians, I'm heading to Scottsdale AZ this Thursday for a golfing trip. Has anyone been ? Please recommend any bars, clubs, restaurants, places to visit.
Why don't I just show you whats inside and tell you the combination as well Use your imagination Chris. It's a big grey box, strong, waterproof, fireproof etc etc...
Hope it's bigger than the "abandoned" one one I "discovered" in an old canal across the lake from my house last winter.... Image Unavailable, Please Login
I want to know more! It's probably slightly bigger or same size. How much do I need to hold I'm not even legal in the U.S yet
Guys, short story sold our house, a townhouse in a condo group, and bought a new house fully detached (ahem now I have my 2 car garage!). In the condo group they use Rogers digital cable. I'm not a rogers fan, so have been tied to it. All my other stuff in the house is Bell, including our cell phones. So what other options are out there? Bell ExpressVU? What else? Pros/Cons of all (incl. Rogers) and personal experiences/recommendations/cautions. I'm in Barrie, Ontario by the way Thanks Chris
