My 2011 California has front/rear park assist.
Is it part of the hele start/stop system?
    Thanks

No, they are two completely different systems. One is to warn you when you are getting to close to something during parking. The other is to increase fuel mileage by shutting the engine off when you come to a stop.
Note that the parking sensor system is linked to the convertible top mechanism, so if you are too close to something at the rear of the car, then the top operation is inhibited.

We are trying to find out if the car has the HELE system.

The dealer that originally sold the car was of no help. Said they would check and get back with us. That has been several days ago.

Anything about the system would help. There has been no signs of this feature, but want to know for sure.

To my knowledge, HELE is on by default when you start the car. There's a button overhead /center that you need to press to disable it. Does your car shut off when you come to a stop sign, etc.?

No, it does not shut off. Idle slows down but has not shut off. I, think I have identified all of the buttons in the over head panel.

Guess maybe I don’t have that option, I hope I am right.
