California 30 stereo upgrade question- Dash opening size?

    I'm looking at options to replace the factory head unit. Does anyone happen to know or can find out the dimensions of the opening with the factory unit removed?

    Trying to determine the size of the unit that can fit in without cutting anything in the dash opening. Fabricating a custom trim bezel is fine, but I don't want to cut the dash at all.

    Hi John,
    Any double din unit will fit, including Pioneer motorised front with the exception that it will not open to allow dvd / cd unless you shave 2mm off the trim surround rear (the face will remain standard you cannot see the mod once the unit is installed).
    The standard cradle that holds the stereo is 1mm to small to accept the Standardised double din Format the Becker unit is 1mm smaller than all other double din units manufactured so the cradle will need to have its top cut off (easy to do and will not affect returning the car back to stock if needed)
