Yep, it was fun to sit inside Starbucks (where it was dry) and talk for an hour or two.
You know, I'm used to being parked next to your 458, but seeing it facing me at the stoplight turning, the car is surrealistic, amazing sight. Really sticks out in a world of ordinary.
Note to garage queens: rain is simply the first step in wash and wear. A trip in the rain for good conversation with relatively like minded souls is always better than the honey list or Saturday morning TV. Matt and I found a rain break just after noon and we were able to get the photos of my Shelby Daytona replica to put it up for sale on a website. After we had lunch the rain was back so we caught a break. Many thanks to Matt for his help!
I got home last night around 9:30pm and it rained from 90% of the day and the 1 hour break to shoot Johns car. John not a problem! I left Johns and headed to Ron's to get some DRY photos of the 458. Ron, thanks for the coffee, I would of fallen asleep on the drive home without it! I had a good time at C&C as always and glad to see you all made it out with it raining. I enjoyed my pumpkin spice with soy.
John, we need to see a pic or two of your Shelby Daytona replica. Please post a couple in this thread. Maybe we can talk you into keeping it!
Enjoyed talking to you all for a couple hours on Saturday. It's nice to have a smaller & more personal C&C group as opposed to a huge parking lot full of cars where you never really get to know anyone. Was great to meet you Matt, enjoyed talking to you! Thanks to Ron and Bob for taking me for rides. I really appreciate you guys sharing the passion... what amazing cars! Hopefully there will be a get-together next time I'm in town and maybe the weather will also be a bit better!
Indeed Casey a pleasure to meet you as well. You will most certainly have to stop by again and perhaps we can all go out for some dinner.
Guys, Karl and I are looking at doing a late hour convoy to the GF C&C this Sat. Anyone else up for it, show up in GF around 8:15 or so? Karl's neighbor is probably coming with his F430 spider, so that's three 430's. Who else might be in?
I am torn on going to that or going to a detail clinic back home :/ Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk
I'm planning on being there. Probably between 8:30 a.m. and 9:00 a.m. Hope to see several of you there, this Saturday, Nov 5th.
awesome.. hadn't been there in a while. No more track events for me this year. Hopefully no rain (or snow)!
Saturday is lookin' good weather-wise. A bit cool in the a.m. but that's why we're meeting at Starbucks. I'll be there in the Dino with the targa top ON! Bill
After recent events I will not be able to make it, I am not in the mood for anything right now. I have a thread open if you want to see what I mean. Sent from my DROID X2 using Tapatalk
Oh, yes, a Sport GT, no less. Gotta see this and, excuse me, smell the interior. No leather smells and feels quite as good as a QP's. Fantastic! Hope you can make it. Bill
Great to see everyone this morning. I needed that cup of coffee, partly to wake up but also to warm up.
good seeing everyone and their machines! cheny4 - 355 sounds sweet when you gunned it at the light Bill - beatiful Dino! good tip on chips toggie - thanks for the car washing tips and finding official name of my color lol gh21631 - good to see u and the 360 Bob - keep the 430 spider, just get a Vette for daily. store the 430 in our upcoming club garage
Great cup of coffee this morning. Who knew you could order an organic french press from Starbucks for regular price. OutStanding. Delish. Great seeing all you guys. Hope it's not the last one for the year. I'm in no big hurry to lose the spider.
I left Katie's thinking it would warm up by the time I got to Landsdowne. Not!!! But still it was nice seeing old friends and meeting new ones. Your argento F car looked awesome Karl.. See you next month?
