    Second time for this monthly C&C in Loudoun County, just east of Leesburg a couple miles. It's a gathering for car enthusiasts at Lansdowne Town Center, intersection of Hwy 7 and Belmont Ridge Rd. We'll continue the tradition of meeting on the first Saturday of each month, 8 to 11am, to share our mutual enjoyment of our favorite domestic and foreign cars. Park in the lot in front of the AAA office. Starbucks and Panera are very close. GPS = 19317 Winmeade Drive, Leesburg, VA 20176. Grab a couple friends with interesting cars and com'on out. Let's double the attendance - - 7 cars in April, let's get 14 in May! See you there...

    Thanks to all for coming out. Perfect weather! We had a total of about 10 cars show-up including CMartin348 (Casey) all the way from Nashville on his way to CT and Mass - - thanks for stopping by to say "Hi." Next Leesburg C&C will be June 4th, same day as the FCA-MAR's Virginia Hunt Country Tour. So much to do, so little time.

    Gh, let me know what you find out about the shifting problem.

    Alex, next time I go by Hamilton on the W&0D Trail, I'll try to locate your house. Love that Rossa Rubino on your 308.

    Bill - Your Dino is absolutely stunning. Had a great time talking to you.

    Ron - Your knowledge of Ferrari's was amazing and Ryan and I learned a TON yesterday. Thanks for taking the time to talk to us and teach us more about them. Your 458 and 550 are both beautiful.

    Bob - Thanks for letting us follow you down to the Manassas Airport, enjoyed hearing/seeing your car the whole way there! :) Nice talking to you as well, had a great time!

    Thank you all for being so kind... I'll stop by if I'm ever in NOVA on the first Saturday again. Great meeting all of you! :)

    Yeah, Bill's Dino is stunning. Between Toggie and Dinodriver, we have the cornerstones for our new cars and coffee locked up.

    What time did you guys leave the tarmac? Even though it wasn't a porsche event, I felt better having your car on one side, since the other was that hotrod camaro with the tacky sign in the window, silhouette of a girl laying back saying "I'd rather be blown than injected". Real class. Was sorry you guys left.

    Definitely!

    I think we left around 12:15 or so. I had to get Ryan back for his lacrosse game. I missed the tacky sign, probably because I wasn't really interested in the hotrod, but yes, very classy indeed! ;)

    Sorry I didn't get a chance to say goodbye. Looked around, but couldn't find you and your friend. Wish we could've stayed longer. How long did you guys end up staying?

    I'm in NoVA fairly often, although usually not in the 997, but hopefully I'll get to come by C&C next time. It's a great group of guys and hopefully it'll keep growing!

    Found out that it is the clutch, having it replaced right now. I hope to have the car back next week.

    So, I figured I'd better stay home and not get anyone else sick.

    You're not alone. I know several that are sick right now, my sweet little girl in fact. My buddy and I were the only ones in Lansdowne at 08:30. We left at 09:00, still the only exotic. That was my last Lansdowne meet before my hip surgery, so it'll be a few months before I'm back at this one. Might hit GF one last time next week.

    Get better, Ron. Sorry you're under the weather.
