Id rather see a lighter Enzo than one that is heavier and loaded with BS as the BUG.

FXX isn't a street-legal car. The FXX is race car available for sale to the public...

I'd doubt it, although I did hear some Ferrari official (can't remember the name) saying turbocharging was the way of the future and Ferrari would follow the trend... I think the Veyron is going to be the fastest car around for quite some time... Except for maybe the Melling Hellcat, look it up.

but maybe you could squeeze one in your garage if cash wasn't an issue ? IMHO i think judgement should be reserved until a test drive . i haven't nor will ever get the chance too :)

The soul's in the person, not the car. Some people think Cavaliers have "soul".

The Bug is an amazing technical tour d' force and driving one is not something you soon forget. I very much doubt that anything quite like it will ever be built again.

I think if one stretched the wheel base as they did in the MC 12, took out 1000 lbs, and used some styling cues from it's sister, the Bentley Speed 8, it would be really something.

Speaking of it's sisters it's important to remember that the Audi R8/R10 is the greatest sports racing car ever built and has won Le Mans (7 times) something Ferrari hasn't done since 1965. The technology that's now under Porsche's umbrella is formidable...

I am not saying that it has but...

How do you know that - did you drive one?

Does any of the modern Ferrari you have driven have more soul?

How does one determine whether a car as soul or not?

As much as I enjoy my Ferrari, and it is a fantastic car, I am constantly struggling with the soul issue. If it is soul = character, them my old BMW has one just as well, just different type.

Why doesn't everyone relax on who has the fastest possible car and just enjoy the mechanics and stunning build quality of these ultra high end cars, the speed differences among them really don't matter that much except in a pissing contest.

    That is very well stated.

I think that we are all going to have to get used to seeing more diesel/biodiesel endurance racing cars in the future, and that may ultimately feed into roadgoing sportscars and even F1.

Peugeot already have a luxury saloon car concept with the 908 HDI engine, and with over 850bhp at 4000rpm and huge torque it could be the way to go.

So perhaps Ferrari's Bugatti Killer should be a lightweight biodiesel - power, torque, driveability and lightweight........

The future's bright and the future's green.

I don't mind diesel in motorsports, as long as it performs.
