Stage 1 The transmission was removed to replace the clutch with an oem Valeo replacement. The wheels, exhaust, rear bumper, and undercarriage shields are removed to gain access to the transmission. The torque tube and transmission are slid back to gain access to the clutch. Once removed, we confirmed our diagnosis to be correct. Heavy glazing, cracked edges, and deep wear marks show this clutch has started to fail. The new clutch is fitted and the gearbox oil is replaced. The car is reassembled and test driven on our Dynometer to confirm a succesful operation.
