    Was hoping someone here had a source to purchase some Pappy Van Winkle bourbon . My sources are asking outrageous prices. Interested in 10, 12, 15 , 20 or 23 years. It’s great stuff. Some hype, but still great bourbon.

    I know this is Ferrari Chat- But you guys are the only ones that can afford it

    Yikes!! Really overpriced, but still very good. I suggest try the angel’s envy. Their high end bottle is pretty good.
    Only $100 bucks.

    Angel’s Envy is about $48 in every liquor store I’ve seen it in NYC.

    Depends which variety they have a couple. The rum cask is about 100, the port cask is like 50

    Weller is wheated , better chance getting that. Pappy is ok, but definitely has its own hype train behind it. A good scotch is miles better

    Bullit rye is pretty good. The reg bourbon has too much bite for my taste. But the rye strikes a nice balance. And the price is right.

    That’s to good to be true.... 23 yo Pappy, if you can find it goes for about $1900 or more on the secondary market.

    I'll have to take a trip over to the ABC store today and subtly inquire. If the too-good-to-be-true price is accurate, then the Virginia bureaucrats sure are leaving a lot of money on the table.

    Perhaps this is an opportunity for me to become a bootlegger serving the PA and FL markets.:D But, I'll need to get an inconspicuous '40 Ford first!
