    I finally found the correct silver spoke wheel for my '80 400i, don't ask what I had to give for it :-(

    I could throw the black spoke one I took off up on Ebay, but you all are a great group so I thought I'd offer it here first.
    The leather is showing its age and the anodizing?, powder coating?, is chipped in a few spots.
    If you're interested, drop me a PM with an offer.

    I may have a headlight/wiper/turn signal #110315 switch assembly also.

    Hi Dave, I have never seen this type of wheel in black like this before! I could be wrong, but may be it was the original wheel but painted or powder coated by the previous owner. In any case, why not just polish off the black paint and have it silver again? You won't have any trouble finding a buyer for it though, but it would worth more as a silver spoke wheel. Just my 2 cents. SiVan

    A black wheel is correct on series 2 400i's,

    The padding on the wheel pictured looks a little too round for it to be a later 400 wheel (unless it was recovered)

    '82 or '83 and up cars had the black Momo wheel.

    Silver spoke was on the early cars like mine.

    Hi guys, I stand corrected! I guess I had not noticed the differences on these later model cars. Except for the paint, the black Momo's look identical to the silver ones right? If it is similar, then it might be cheaper to strip the paint off than to buy a new wheel.
