+++ 1 I have know Kulu for years, I met him before he was in the car business. Kulu has always run a good shop there, and very consistent. I hate to say it publicly but Ferrari of Alberta (part of the Remo Ferri Group - Ferrari of Ontario etc.) is going to have a hard go out there in my opinion due to the good reputation and established clientele in the exotic business that both ZR and Kulu have. I wouldn't hesitate in dealing with him at all. When I was there in May I dropped by and he had a lot of gorgeous machines but the treat was a black Carrera GT parked next to a (sold) red F40. At one time he did have that same F40, plus a red F50 and a red Enzo in his showroom. Now thats a treat (pic on his website). Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Good day Vasco, This would depend upon who you talk to... I recently had some dealings with Kulu and I was totally unimpressed with their business style and ethics. That being said, I did not find him or his firm "shady", etc but I would be certainly be vigilant/cautious in any future dealings. Cheers, Sam
Hello Sam, hope you are well. Regardless of who it is, one must and should do their due dilligence. I myself deal in these cars day in and day and out and can too make a mistake. Yes I know it is hard to believe So for that reason I always push people to do their PPI's, call their mechanics, call their grandmother, uncles, aunts and whomever because you can never be too carefull. Best,
I thought Kulu was an alcoholic beverage, with a sweet taste served as an after dinner drink, preferably in one's coffee....and appealed to mostly women.
Never met him and have never purchased a car from him, but I have spoken to him many times. He has always been very helpful and seems like a standup guy. I would not hesitate to buy from him, and he always has a nice collection of cars for sale...usually more Porsches than Ferraris though.
Good day Vasco, I am fine... just tuckered out these days... early mornings and late evenings tend to do that . I hope all is well on your side! In terms of Kulu's case, there was no mistake on their side and Kulu's motivations were perfectly clear despite my repeated attempts / requests for them to take a different action. Prior to this I thought of Kulu in higher regard, but came away with a much different opinion. Like I said they did nothing that would forever stop me from doing business with them, but at the same time I would not go out of my way to deal with them. Cheers, Sam
I wonder if he's a true F Car buff though and he carries the Porsches as they are quick movers (sellers)? I saw him a number of times when I was in Calgary this May driving a red 599 with a dealer plate affixed to it. Chris
I grew up with Kulu, since grade 3. yes really. The guy is awesome, I bought every exotic from him until I moved to the u.s. You will never find a better more honest car broker than Kulu. Good luck. Tell him Rahul says he wants his $2 back. Sent from my Lumia 900 using Board Express
Ma what high school is this .... reading a GQ mag in high would have labeled you something else besides a good dresser.
who had money for books, let alone a magazine to figure out how to dress....no wonder we don't know how to read. Shooter you with the money to get GQ back then ....LOL
Me? I was just reading over the rich kids shoulders. I drove a 30 year old moped, had long hair and lived in a tiny basement aprtment with a stoner dude and his epileptic cat off of St. Clair and Christie. Times were tough, but I tell ya the girls just love to hang out at the pad.
Jesus... I was just happy you said GQ and not the internet... Any way... Thanks to those who stayed on topic. I'm going out to Calgary next month to look a 550, if it's still there. Now... back to our regular programing... Bill
