An accomplished mechanic, Antonio Bellentani from Casinalbo, province of Modena, joined the Scuderia Ferrari in 1962, following his uncle the engineer Vittorio Bellentani who designed the first car built by Ferrari in 1940, the Auto Avio Costruzioni 815.

Antonio Bellentani worked with the likes of Valerio Stradi, Valeriano Muzzarelli, Ener Vecchi, Paolino Scaramelli, Giulio Borsari, Rolando Levoni, Erio Corradini, the legendary Scuderia Ferrari's mechanics. He led the team in the 1970s, working with engineer Mauro Forghieri in Formula 1 and in the World Sportscar Championship squad, alongside a number of drivers including Arturo Merzario, Clay Regazzoni, Chris Amon, Jacky Ickx, Ignazio Giunti and above all Jody Scheckter who won the World title in 1979 with him as chief-mechanic. In 1986 Antonio Bellentani worked with Harvey Postlethwaite in the development of the Ferrari for the Indianapolis 500.

He was involved in motorsport from an early age, working in the 1950s for the B.R.M. (Bellentani Riccardo Modena) the engineering company which was founded by his father Riccardo Bellentani with his brother Vittorio Bellentani.

After his retirement he became one of the members of the Veteran Formula 1 Mechanics Club. Antonio Bellentani passed away on 01 March 2009 at the age of 78.

Reading story Antonio Bellentani, see :http://www.motorvalley.com/characters/bellentani-r-modena.html
    and:http://www.veteranknallert.dk/0600/eng_0602.htm
Both refer to a very close connection between B.R.M. and Ferrari.
As I have a Ducbock 48cc bike type B6 have my thoughts that it was made by B.R.M, (the connection with Holland,)
Hope that there are some files saved somewhere in Modena or at Ferrari, or someone on this forum knows more about this? The Ducbock B5 and B6 bikes were introduced in 1961 on the Dutch market and disappeared within 2 years . May be B.r.m. finished as Antonio Bellentani started working for Ferrari in 1962. Pity he passed away.
