Same for me with 1/24th, althought I'm building my first 1/12th right now and love it. Never tried a 1/43. :D Great thread already Humberto!

    Fantastic work!
I never could figure out what the sponsor decal on the wings was. The only pics I have of it are completely unclear.

I agree, great work. I have a few slides someone gave me of the car at Watkins Glen. I will check if the photos are clear enough.

Here are 2 of my conversions in 1/24th scale. The Dino started out as a street Fujimi 246GT and the 312 1967 started out as a Hiro 312 1968. I like 1/12th, 1/24th and 1/43rd. My favorite scale is 1/24th.

Very nice work on the Marui 312T. I have a few of those kits and the body is very nice but the kit does not include anything on top for the engine. The M23 and Tyrrell are also very nice but have no engine detail.

By the way, I used my Scale Designs Daytona sheet to do the 246GT, not the Studio 27 sheet(wich is missing several decals). I have included 2 more Ferrari's, one is just a Revell California with Hobby Design wheels and parts and the second is my Scale Designs kit with wich I started with a Fujimi Daytona and modified(do they have to be "RED" or just Ferrari's?).

it's nice! you made the best colour matching of the exterior and interior for the california.
the first lm of my collection is from italeri, but after some years of hesitation and having it near the other fujimi daytonas, i decided to convert the lm from fujimi to replace it at least now i have all the daytonas with same body porpotions.
it's just a matter of personal preference, the first colour choice for a ferrari is red and the second one is "rosso" and the third is "vermelho", and so on.... this is how my story started ......and finish :)

Great thread Humberto - it is a pleasure to see your work again. I have the book and I often look through it - I would love to have those 1/24 models in my collection.

    Best regards,
    Stephen

tameo made it for three consequetive years and then stoped, very nice models with great decals, worth to have them, i straight built them.
if you have the tamiya fxx you don't have to compare it with other brands.
i added suspensions from 'acusition', crazy modelers pe, and scracht built others visible parts that they d'ont have supplied. this is one of the model in my collection that i enjoy while building.

It's to bad Tameo gave up on 1/24th F1. They did some nice kits. You did very good work on all of them. The FXX also looks great.
