It’s as pointless as mating a pit bull with a dachshund.

SUVs have defied common sense for a few decades now. Therefore "why not?"

Looks nice for an SUV. What motor? will it have good suspension with compliance or will it just be way too stiff so it can post numbers.

It looks ok for a suv, I guess electrics have acceleration so it’s an easier sell by linking it to performance. Arguably if it’s not a f150 the only desireable vehicle Ford makes is the stang.

still what quality vehicle does ford make, hard pool to swim in if the German electrics are the target

The Germans aren't really setting the world on fire with electric cars. The taycan is pretty awesome for 200k though.

The Ford expedition is pretty quality.
The Lincoln navigator black lable is probably the nicest SUV or even sedan you could buy. I'd take it over a Bentley any day of the week.
    The ranger is pretty solid.
Of course the super duty lineup is good

Unfortunately they are canceling the flex but that was a pretty awesome unit.
    The escape is surprisingly good

Just sat in the new explorer limited. All I have to say is WOW.

I'm 6 weeks into my Lincoln Aviator, and it is awesome. 400hp 415lb tq and 10 speed auto make it very quick. I'ts the most luxurious SUV I have ever owned. Free pick up and delivery or loaner cars for service. So far so good.

My '17 F-350 diesel was virtually bulletproof. Too bad they can't hire some Europeans to do the interiors.

Really? I think there interiors are almost BMW level quality. And for a fraction of the price (relative). Also they do design them to be used with gloves on. So there is ALWAYS that factor when it comes to buttons and knobs etc.

It's a truck that does most of America's lifting every day. Just because you can buy it in a platinum trim doesn't mean it's roots still aren't in work.

Also a guy I know designed it. Lol.
