400 Wheels for 400 Daily driver

    I have heard, anecdottally, that any V8 ABS type ferrari wheel (328 abs, 348, 355) can be used on the 400i with no modification - does anyone have any idea if this is true? There is a photo on this site of a 400 with what appear to be 355 wheels - but can anyone say for certain that they will fit, and that the offsets are correct, etc.? Any help is appreciated.

    I have this crazy idea to replace my 04 Audi A8L with an 84 400i (25k miles / year), and use it every day - but this depends in large part on the ability to replace the TRXs.....

    Any help is much appreciated.
