    That guy is a banned user here.

    I swear, Ferrari people are some of the greediest d-bags I have ever seen. It really takes the fun out of owing a Ferrari sometimes. The excessive focus on money that people have with Ferraris is, ironically, very petty.

    Absolutely, true, but we must understand that many parts out there are NLA - you can't 'shop around' for many common items anymore. This guy in Italy has items that haven't been on US parts shelves for years, and he knows it. SO, he gets to ask for the moon...

    Regardless of the rarity of the parts in question the guy is an ass. Forty bucks, I'd love to know how the figure was arrived at.
    I hope he finds lots of Nigerian customers.

    ...he was asking a hundred a couple of days ago. he does have specials occasionally but more often than not his prices are crazy...
    but hey, we're all familiar with the 'Golden Rule'.

    Well, some of us have to pass State Inspections, and I can tell you this much - if you need that turn-signal assembly, and you ain't passing State Inspection with the busted turn signal you have, you will have to do business with folks like this or park the car. Love 'um or hate 'um, he's in Italy where many of the 'unobtanium' parts are still in-circulation. Granted, I hate his prices too - but no one else in Italy is offering cut-rate deals on the rare stuff....

    Buy a ticket in coach ($700) then upgrade it to business class so you're comfortable.
    Take 2 or 3 g's in US cash with you and buy a bunch of parts.
    Drink a little vino, eat a little pasta.
    Bring the parts home in your carry-on.
    Save the $40 and the "you're screwed so I can charge whatever I want prices". You'll still be way ahead and have great memories.
    I do it all the time.
