I'm having a set of custom wheels built for my 91 348ts and want some feedback/input from those that have changed their wheels. Curious what width and offsets everyone is running. Pics to show how they sit would be helpful as well. The more I search the more conflicting info I seem to find. Also came across some weird stock offsets. Thanks in advance
Depends on the width of wheels. I'd love 7.5x18 front and 9x18 rear wheels, then use 355 offsets, absolutely perfect and no increase in rolling resistance and unsprung weight. Most places wont make 7.5x18 anymore. sigh. There are many wheel threads out here btw. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/348-355-360-wheel-offset.600577/
Here's the info I collected when i was doing this: Std 348 5x108 67.1 bore Front 7.5j17 et+49 Rear 9j17 et+68 Std F355 5x108 67.1 bore Front 7.5j18 et+32 Rear 10j18 et+77.9 And the specs I fitted.. BBS LM 5x108 67.1 bore Front 8j18 et+35 Rear 10.5j18 et+65 Michelin Pilot Super Sport - 225/40 R18 (92Y) Michelin Pilot Super Sport - 295/35 R18 (103Y)
I have a 91 348ts with standard OEM wheels. I added the Hill Engineering wheel spacers to the rear wheels to improve high-speed stability. I think the rear spacer is 1-inch thick. You could check the Hill Engineering website to confirm and to see what they use for the front wheel spacers. My understanding is that on the later model 348s, the wheel offsets were changed to be further outboard, so you might see different wheel specs depending on the year model.
I based my wheel spec off this post when I ordered my wheels. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/posts/139189146/
