I saw this car in the showroom at Miller Motorcars in Greenwich, CT today. The dealership was closed so I took these photos through the window. I assume it is for sale. Does anyone know the asking price? One thing I noticed was what appears to be a roll bar inside. Was that a standard or common feature of these cars?

Did anyone find out more about this? I still do not see it for sale on their website?

A roll bar was not a common feature. Neither were A/C or a radio. There were no power windows and they drove like a truck. Gorgeous to look at nonetheless. I owned #4539 for thirty years and I ought to know.

Yes, the old interior of Miller had a lot of character - it was an institution almost like the 21 Club, etc. The new interior feels very corporate. Really miss Werner too.

I was back at Miller Motorcars today and was told the 250 Lusso had been sold. There is now a red 275GTB in the same place, also for sale. Photos are in another thread here.

I know the seller and the buyer. The car went from one good home to another. Not a speculator!

I have seen her in the flesh recently (one advantage of North London life) and she looked great. A top earning model and icon from 14 to 40, not a bad innings.
She may not radiate tantric health like a macro biotic Gwyeneth Paltrow, but I know who I would rather , ahem , "spend the evening with".

Others may know better, but my sense is that a tatty driver/old restoration is 2/low 2s, excellent cars with classiche and all goodies are mid to high 2s and an outstanding fresh pebble beach restoration would be 3+ (and super nice RHD cars have sold recently at around 3 but I think only 20 were made so there is special demand for those from UK/Australia etc)

I'm glad to hear that, Mark. I assume the 288 at Miller is yours, too? Maybe that is the one I'm saddest to see go, as if that matters... Anyway, sometimes you hear not so great reasons for these sales (3 D's) which aren't so great. Hope you will share some pics & details when the new cars arrive, whatever they may be!
