Gooding and Co have announced they will be selling this car at Scottsdale in a months time. Estimate US$ 8 - 10 million.......

A very good consignment. And good value compared to a SWB.

Wow a $3m mark up in price. Is that normal?

Not exactly but its modus operandi for Talacrest and I suppose others to directly speculate.... Fantasy junction must be confident they can find a buyer at that price. Maybe, time will tell.

Or completely right for an unrestored car with in-period covered headlight/nose conversion by Tom Meade.

Given the barn find SWB in France that just went for $18M, probably! I'd think asking price and selling price would be quite different, but having one available (vs. waiting for one to reach auction) might be worth a premium to someone who wants one "now."
