Reimel Motorcars presents this 2000 Ferrari 550 Maranello with only 26,000 miles. Covered in Giallo Modena exterior paint over Cuoio leather interior. This 2 owner Ferrari is fitted with Daytona style seats, silver painted brake calipers and a dedication plaque signed by Sergio Pininfarina who was a personal friend of the original owner Ron Spangler. Mr. Spangler loved Ferraris he collected, showed, brokered and sold the Italian sports cars all over the world, he also raced them and even had his own team at LeMans. Mr. Spangler also raised money for local charities through a Ferrari meet and show held at his Prancing Horse Farm off of Ady Road a Street, named in homage to Ferrari’s prancing horse marque. His collection was impressive by 1991 at the age of 54, he had owned 57 Ferraris including three that he kept at his farm. One of his early cars took second place at the 24 Hours of Daytona race in 1979 and another took first in the Ferrari GT Class at the 24 Hours at Le Mans in France in 1982. Mr Spangler seemed to know everyone involved with Ferraris, from the top executives at the car company, to owners and mechanics. Ferraris were his passion, and he was always willing to help or talk to anyone who shared his love of the Italian cars including the Segio Pininfarina personalized this car for Mr. Spangler. This car has been very well maintained by its owners including a recent major service and replacement of motor mounts (it is accompanied by service records since new) and has just recently received 4 new tires and has had all of the stickys addressed.
