    I'm replacing the plug wires on a 2-liter with the old style cap. the plug wires are attached with piercing screws; no issue there.

    However I cannot determine how the HT lead for the coil is located in the cap. Seems to be simply jammed up in the hole.

    Pull out the carbon pin in the middle of the distributor cap and you will find the screw.
