Nice choice! Really ties the whole thing together. Now that you've put a few miles and this, that and the other into it, what are your thoughts?
As I said, this is my fourth 164, but it is really the best. It is 1995 technology, but still fun. Plenty of pep and a nice ride, plus all the creature comforts: working a/c, power everything cd, abs, etc. All the rest of the Alfa’s I had were automatics. Most were good, but this manual is the most fun. For the peanuts these car cost these days, it is a great value.
I'll jump on this thread and share some of our '94 LS.. My wife asked for it to be an automatic, and I found this in AZ with 79,000 miles, for the princely sum of $3,500.. It was given once-over by Alfissimo International, timing belt, water pump, and all new struts before being shipped here to NY. The 24v 3.0 is upgraded with the 'S' spec intake runners and a Squadra ECU chip. I have done a lot of work to it but it has been very satisfying to work on - well engineered, parts are available plus it has solid enthusiast support online. The styling has aged extremely well, I think. It's been a very competent driver, spacious and comfortable on long trips at high speeds. Cheers!
