That car is complete USA model.

But,
it Needs everything!,,,,, 60,000 major, engine out, tunnel hoses, fuse box, , , , , ,etc.

$ 10,000.00 minimum for maintenance.

thus, you end up with a $ 28,000 car that you paid $ 30,000 for.

What's with the gear shift? Why would someone replace the Ferrari shifter with that?

 

It's either the deal of the century or a nightmare of a scam!

Used exotics coming out of Florida always scare me --- far too many true horror stories from folks getting burned...

 

I was under the impression that it was the Mondial T that needed an "engine out" major, NOT the 3.2

Is there anything missing from that carfax?
If that car has been in FL anytime since 1999 (as the plates indicate), apparently it hasn't been inspected since then. This car might not even exist anymore.

 

Actually, the last entry was in 2000. If you're seriously interested in the car I'm only about an half hour away from it.

True about the last entry, but the car has not been inspected in FL since 1999. That's a red flag for a car with FL plates since FL require inspections every 1-2 years.

I can't speak for every county but I've been in FL for 20 years (this time) and an inspection has never been required for any vehicle that I've bought or sold. Except: State Farm did a walk around of two that I brought in from out of state.

 

There were 3 or 4 counties that did emissions testing every year, but they did away with that around that around the 2000 timeframe. No other DMV required inspections in Florida.

I'd say the car is worth a look, I just wouldn't go in expecting very much.

 

That could explain it. I'm still waiting to hear from the owner....

Sure, , you don't ahve to take the engine out of a Mondi 3.2 for a major. But, the engine is so easy to remove, you would be foolish not to pull it.
and it makes it easier to get to the 20 year old hoses....?
