$18K Mondial average price?

So goes the specialty/exotic used market right now. Its all marques. The reason Im thinking is that many of the buyers of these cars have been hit the worst by job losses and such. The lower-end earners werent buying moderately-priced,used F-cars and the upper-tier earners arent either. Less real buyers = Less real values.

The Mondy and 308 fall right into the wheelhouse of the middle/upper-middle class wage earner. They are having the most trouble right now justifying a $25K toy.

I still think the best examples with zero stories and perfect service histories will command a good buck. However, people are smarter about this now and they understand that a 30 year old Italian car is gonna need some attention. That gets built into the price these days.

The market will cycle around, it always does.
