http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-0oJ2wQiu2Y I guess those big wings was functional. Here is the car. http://www.lancermods.co.uk/
Almost became a Darwin award contender for that year. Right hand drive car (Japanese or British import). Should go back to aerodynamic aids 101 versus Ricer School of Stupid Ideas 101.
Caymanslover, as to your post title I suggest you put your glasses back on - the camera was fixed to the helmet and you can clearly see multipoint (maybe 5 maybe 4 - not sure) belts when he takes the helmet/camera off and puts it on the seat. RHD import? Why do you assume this was filmed at a LHD market location? Read the description - it was filmed at a RAF airbase in the UK (domestic market for RHD cars). Funny, I had the same thought Taking the wing off though... one would have thought it's doing him a lot of good if it was bending down at speed as much as he wrote
havnt watched the video since it was posted by my thought is that because of the fact that he lifted/started braking, it caused the weight distribution to move forward, causing hte car to lose downforce and stability.
