Saw this morning and says a lot to me. If you take care of thngs, they will take care of you.

The engine is original, and oil changes every 3000 miles! There is that 3000 mile oil change regime again. Most intrigueing thing is 3 gas tanks. He was in the Midwest and the rust didn't get him, before he wore out the engine. 5 transmissions, more ATF fluid changes may have helped, but he was carring weight, delivering seafood, 85000 miles a year.

Yeah, the Greek Taxi, was from Thessaloniki, in the North. The Volvo P1800, is unique and still going! Well Al Bundy...?

There are others out there, does anyone know of any?

Which is being owned by Chrysler ... so it still counts lol :)
And, to be even more boring and precise, I did some research and it turns out that Al's Dodge was actually a Plymouth:

I bet there're many MB's w123 out there with 1 million miles on the odometer, especially in Africa.

Dad's 1997 E-Class 300 Diesel (3 litre, non turbo) has done 430.000 miles and still going strong. Some minor issues with the auto gearbox and the dynamo gave up once + hundreds of electrical problems over the years. But other than that - pretty solid engine/car.

    Respect to these champs.
