Hello, I’m not aware of any programming in the 458’s system to show a real-time compass. I use an app through my iPhone when I want a compass indicator. It was free and it’s very accurate. I'm not aware of any compass setting specifically. You could set the right TFT screen to be the navigation and choose "Map Heading" / "North Up:" Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login (PMiranda beat me to it)
I was too lazy to go out to the garage to try it I guess the big question is, does Ron need an exact heading, or just general direction?
My thoughts as well… I took his post to mean that he wanted the exact heading he was travelling, not just the direction. The iPhone app gives both, so Bob’s Your Uncle either way when using it. Cheers!
