Thanks everyone. Policy updated to $85k.
I have regular ACV insurance. If totaled I'll still get significantly more than I paid for the car. Based on current insurance evaluation somewhere between $75k and $100K. Like I have said, it's just another car to me.
Since my car now qualifies for "classic" plates here in MI, State Farm will do collector car insurance for it with agreed upon value. They can do an agreed upon value of up to 250k, of which I am going to do (or 240k, I can't remember). I want a high value because if something does happen to it, I don't want them to total it out. I would be devastated if something happened to it.
Just as a reminder, not directed at anyone or any situation, its just a generic post. The way most insurance works is they will cover the value of the car as determined by an adjuster, not give you the stated value. It usually does not not cover 100% of the vehicle's value, it is not a guaranteed amount. Stated value is different than agreed value, many will get get surprised at claim time should that ever arise. Making the stated value uber high just increases the premium, it will not give you better coverage. Stated value insurance is for reducing your cost not increasing your coverage. Stated value will cover the stated value or actual cash value at the time of total loss. Try and match stated value equivalent to current market trends.
I'll go out on a limb and say that driver quality cars (gated GTB/S) will be back under 6 figures next year.
https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/f430-six-speed-coupe.642111/ Manual F430. $250k. That's where the 355 should be . @ttforcefed How would you compare a manual F430 to a manual F355?
That Manual F430 seems high? 430's seem odd as they range from mid 90s to 300K. https://bringatrailer.com/ferrari/f430/?q=430
That range isn’t for manuals. Like TTForce said... manual variations are trading as if they’re different cars from their F1 versions.
430 is better and faster in any measurable category but 355 is way more emotional. Dino values put both 355 and 430 to shame. No one cares about F1 convertible 355s
Sorry guys. You missed the boat. $60k this. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
No sale at $115k?? How about we try $125k???That should do the trick . https://www.*******************/1997-ferrari-f355-berlinetta-c-359.htm
I wonder how much they'd charge to do it to another car. I like their end result but would want it on a GTB.
