They fit fine over the brakes, they were a direct bolt on, order the appropriate hubcentric rings, and they are well over the load rating for the FF.
you could, but I don't see why, in this situation running a 245 40 and a 295 35, the tire sidewall heights are more uniform and balanced. You sacrifice a tiny bit of steering feel, but you gain considerably more comfort, balance, and security from potholes. I'm probably going to stick with this setup for a bit.
sorry to bump an old thread, But does anyone know what the wheel specs needed for a square 19 set up? There is a of F40 style wheels I'd love to consider on my car
Square how? As in 8.5" wide rims and 245 section tyres all around? Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
They come in 19x9.5 and 8.5 I know the rears are wider than the front so would keep that in mind. I live in manhattan so the added benefit of a bit of a meatier tire for escaping the city is a nice side benefit
Considering my limited storage I'd prefer if they were all season but I'd hate to lose too much performance, so a pair of both (and an all season rec just in case haha)
Doing this,as an option for summer tyres isn't very ideal. There simply aren't any good tyre options in 19" currently. If the wheels you are looking at are available in 20", there might be a better solution in either a full 20" setup or a staggered 19/20 setup. Sent from my SM-G930F using FerrariChat.com mobile app
Biggest issue with running wheels on modern Ferraris is the spokes clearing the calipers, its very rim specific if you're buying the appropriate offsets.
