That one went comprehensively Ferrari's way.

I guess I might define “comprehensively” different than you. Worth noting, the conditions that day clearly favored the SF90. In more favorable conditions, the 765LT seems poised to edge out a slight advantage. Regardless, hairs are being split. Both cars are monsters, but one costs 50% more than the other...

Did you watch that video? Hennessey couldn’t initiate a burnout...lol. We’ll see plenty of rematches when Brooks gets his SF90.

You're right, it's all gone a bit quiet. I suspect we are looking at a reveal in September 2021, with deliveries towards the end of Q1 2022.

will these tt v6 hybrids sell?
People may pause and think: new LB or used tt v8 488. ..... new Artura or used tt v8 570 (or high mile 720?) o_O

The V6TT will sell out as always. Most people just want new/badge status and dont care about the visceral nature of the offerings.
Look at the 488....ugly, poor sounding yet sold well.

You’ve owned or driven most recent Ferraris and Mclarens. It’s just a fact. Mclaren’s are ridiculously quick.

McLaren and Ferrari models are essentially out of phase performance-wise:

    570S - 488 GTB
    720S - Pista
    765LT - SF90

It will be interesting to see how the Artura and LB compare. My sense is that the LB will be more powerful but heavier, resulting in similar acceleration up to 124mph/200kph. The Ferrari will walk from there. The Artura might have an edge in lap times due to its lower weight. I expect the LB to be more expensive.

The question is what will compete with the 720 replacement? I think it’s reasonable to expect 900hp with front axle motors and probably an extra 100-200 pounds over the Artura - so significantly lighter than the SF90. It’s also possible that they throw a bunch of extra weight savings technology at it and stay closer to Artura weight (3,300 wet). It will probably be expensive - SF90 pricing but in another performance dimension.

Realzeus still on it... i can tell you on my own experience rolling 100kph-310kph the 765lt takes 2 car lenth over the sf90 (german highway spring temp). If you do it from a dig it looks different of course.
The ultra short gear reatio of the 765 lt is the trick, and make it hypercar fast/er on the 60-190mph range.
I havent done any 1/4miles with the sf90, (not so commen over hear) but i dont think the Sf90 can hit 150mph drapspeed as the 765lt can.. (will see soon i gues in the net)

I mean believe what you want and if you judge by a vid where one car didnt start correctly, do so and feel good , but dont forget here are some personne who actualy own and drive those cars in the real world and know what they are speaking of.

That rear deck has some really strange proportions, hopefully will look more cohesive on the final car.
