Hi All: My Ferrari Roma is finished production and I anticipate taking delivery in the next 6-8 weeks. As this is my first Ferrari, looking for recommendations on (i) PPF/Ceramic or both, and (ii) recommended installers (I live in northern suburbs - Glencoe). FWIW - LFF offers 3m installation on site (via a third party I believe). My plan is to daily drive (will see if that holds up). Color is Rosso Mugello with Cuoio interior. Appreciate all input, Mark
Chicago Auto Pros I believe there have been positive experiences from folks here about the vendor LFF uses Congratulations on your incoming Ferrari
Ferrari Lake Forest had my former 360 Spider and my current 458 Spider Expel Ultimate PPF installed, on site, by Midwest Autobahnd. They do excellent work and did not use pre-cut sheets. They use sheets of Expel and the installers custom cut around all emblems and edges. Really great craftsmanship. I also had one of my Corvettes done at their shop in the Collector Car Garage in Chicago. I’ve recommended them to friends who have similar experiences. I understand you can Ceramic coat over the PPF but I have only used Ceramic waxes with good results.
I second the recommendation for checking out Chicago Auto Pros. AJ is the person I always go through there. They are very precise and take pride in their work.
