friends, haven’t been checking the board very often. i have a 99 f355 serie all maintenance records , just got the interior put back together after de sticky work. it has somewhere around 7k miles rossa corsa but black interior with all the carbon unfortunately it’s NOT a three pedal i really haven’t been able to enjoy it as much as i had hoped when i bought it and the car deserves to be driven more. my question is this : do the f1 transmission serie models demand any premium compared to the f1 standard models in today’s market? secondly. to my chagrin, some rodent must have chewed a hole in the black rag top. can anyone recommend a replacement? it’s patched now but really bothers me. the car is in great shape and just got it back from my mechanic after it’s yearly. i told him really i’d much rather have a 360 3 pedal. he said the market was not bad for the 355 now but i’v
F1 is a killer. It's a$60k car. Sorry, not an April fools. 12/23/202, 1999, 5k miles, F1 spider, sold for $62,500 https://bringatrailer.com/listing/1999-ferrari-f355-spider-28/ Image Unavailable, Please Login
Looking at the BAT post it appears that the reserve has not been met at 62,500. Anyone that would let a 5k mile spider go for low to mid 60's is letting money walk out the door (regardless of the F1 trans). But to each their own.
I have been looking a lot for a 355 spider. Almost had a purchase on one at $70K. Sold for that to someone else. F1 Titano, black. Very nice car. So I am going with $65K - $75K for a decent car. PatVulky I might be interested if your selling. I prefer the black interior. F1 is Ok Gated one would be ideal for me. Thanks Mike
So are you saying your car is a serie Fiorano? I haven't seen one come up for sale for a while, but certainly there is a price premium over a regular F1 spider.
Serie Fiorano with all the options will make up for the F1 transmission IMO. It's arguably the rarest variant of the 355.
All the Serie Fiorano has is the partially suede covered airbag wheel, carbon door sills, carbon center console, red calipers, and slightly stiffer springs. Not worth the premium over standard imo, but people like "limited" I guess. I've already got the carbon door sills, carbon center console, and red calipers. Working on the springs at the moment . I'll take my suede covered challenge steering wheel and pre-airbag tri-spoke steering wheel over any variation of the airbag steering wheel.
thanks for the info. it is a serie fiorano. i do know the rarest and the most valuable is the gated but i do not have that model. like i said i appreciate the info. i don’t need the money and i do know it’s not a 65k dollar car i am buying a new house and unfortunately just have a lot on my plate i really love the forum but just not active on it. I was wondering the same thing 2 days ago. CS or Scud titanium springs. IF the size works, I'd try to source a used set of Scud springs somehow. Brand new they are $4k. Probably good to have Bilstein rebuild the shocks to match the spring rates. I'd also order Delta Vee's bump stop and upper mount if he's willing to sell separately. https://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/threads/oem-scuderia-suspension-for-360-stradale-f430.599041/#post-147183803
My only reference for a Series Fiorano dates back to 2013 when I bought my spider. At that time spiders were running about $60, as were modt 355s. Series F' s were asking about $125k. One sold 3 years ago (F1) at Sothebys for $126,500. https://rmsothebys.com/en/auctions/fl18/fort-lauderdale/lots/r0273-1999-ferrari-355-f1-spider-serie-fiorano/652732 Image Unavailable, Please Login That's the last auction sale I am aware of.
So Merlin autogroup has a black on grey Berlinetta for 115k, 28k miles listed today. Cheap by their standards. Got love grey inside . I’d convert it to black I guess ZFFXR41A0V0108999 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
