    These are not pop rivets, they are regular rivets and they are essentially pounded to make the attachment.

    You can squeeze them with a hydraulic press or a bench vise as well. Also a great way to build an AK. ;)

    Or use nice rounded head Allen machine screws and nuts. Looks better, lasts longer and can be removed the reinstalled if necessary.
