So, is the steering acting oddly or just the error code? As I recall, the ECU has some codes that can't be cleared with power down. BUT I am no expert so YMMV.

The function of the solenoid is to open and close rapidly to supply hydraulic assistance to the steering rack movement. The valve will spend more time open at low speed when you want more assistance, and proportionately more time closed as you increase speed to weight up and increase feel.

Given that your steering still feels normal, you're obviously still getting assistance. My guess then is that the solenoid is stuck in the open position. The solenoid is kinda spark plug shaped with an electrical connector attached to it, and screws into the steering rack at the base of the steering column.

I was able to disconnect the solenoid connector and cleaned it.
The steering Become heavy and not comfortable to drive .. scanned with autel no reading for voltage. Amp or speed
    The message still there ..

I connected it again steering normal and all reading back
    Message still there

Does this so mean the solenoid is working properly?

It does seem as if the solenoid is working properly- i.e not stuck open or closed, and is getting the signal from the steering ecu to open.

If its cheap, and you're running out of ideas, I would be tempted to swap it out anyway. Never great just throwing parts at a problem, but other than a wiring issue or a fault with the steering ecu itself, I'm not sure what the other options are.

Yeah, I can get you the steering wiring diagram. Stand by.

No idea what the Allen bolt size is. I can promise it won’t be anything non-standard.

Below is the wiring diagram for the steering ecu. Very little to it.

    Pin 1 - 12v
Pin 2 - connection to body ecu
Pin 3 - connection to instrument cluster
Pin 4 - connection to OBD port
Pin 5/6 - connection to solenoid valve
    Pin 7 - ground

Not sure what they are; this is taken from the Ferrari dealer diagnostic software.

Just a thought, but I assume the steering ECU has a connector of some sort-- have you tried spraying that with contact cleaner?

I get that warning on occasion, almost always when I start the car before letting it go through it's various self tests.

Do you keep the car on a battery charger? How long does it sit between drives, with no charger?

Well at least nobody can accuse Ferrari ownership of being boring!

Is there any chance that some component got moisture inside it, and its just taken this long to fully dry out?

    I doubt it, it’s 110F degree here..
    Lowest 90 F
    No rain .
It’s weird .. how started .. and ended.. the million dollar question..is it possible it needed that many drive cycles to reset the code?
