Love the funny sarcasm. I'm with you on this. I have my bias but I can recognize the greatness and flaws in all, favorite and least favorite.

 

If drag racing is your thing then buying anything that comes out in the next 5 years that’s not electric is stupid. This Model S “plaid”?? Give me a break. I may order one just to experience the speed.

720S and F8 are road cars, tuned to be enjoyed on the road that happen to be very quick on a track and in a straight line. Comparing them over tenths of a second to draw a conclusive winner is childish.

I cant do the tells thing, they are just feel so cheap. I do like the tech though, they are way beyond anything else in this area. Some of the other features are well thought out as well.

I’m in the industry sector, manufacturing produces emissions, mining too but that’s it. The other cars keep producing emissions, electric cars don’t.
Quarter mile in less than 9s is fun!

 

I could give a crap less about emissions, etc. for me it’s a $1k downpayment and if Tesla pulls it off in the timeline Elon says, great. If not, I’ll cancel.

 

Whats the sustainable energy source you refer to. Any idea what solar produces vs consumption?
Teslas move pollution from filthy cities to the rest of us.

Solar is not the way, neither is wind. Sure they help but the energy and emissions needed for contruction ofset the gains. Also solar panel unfortunetly cant be recicled yet.
Of course top of the line solar panels will last must longer and be much more efficient but those cant be mass produced because most people cant afford them. There are even solar panels that work at night but at prohibitive costs.

We cannot forget that the U.S. has 5% of the world's population but consumes 30% of the world's resources and creates 30% of the world's waste. If all the developed countries had the same behaviour the planet wouldnt have enought resources. No wonder we must change energy sources!
