360 Cuoio Leather Material Source

Hydes Leather. They do not sell directly but can get it for you. I had them send materials for my Superformance Shelby Daytona Coupe to the factory and the Cuoio leather smells just like Connally leather used to.
www.hydesleather.com. I talked to Aaron Laithwaite who helped me match up all the materials. Carpet, alcantera, leather hides and matching thread. He provides materials for restoration and custom interior shops. Still smells great after three years.

One thing to remember is anything that goes into a certificated aircraft has to have all the FAA burn certification's.

 

I never say never, but I am an FAA certified A/P. If its a certified aircraft it does. If its an experimental its debatable.

About "conversation", I never got a PM on this topic and that caused my confusion but I can add a little bit to this regarding aircraft leather and alcantera(suede).
Superformance stock interiors on Daytona Coupes are black. Only black but you can have anything you want if you provide your own materials which I did because I gave up on finding a Silverstone Grey 430 Coupe with Cuoio leather interior and it had to be a true manual. No flippers for me. Top or shifter. Back to the materials. The source I mentioned, Hyde Leathers, can probably provide the certified leather and other materials because the alcantera used in my Daytona was pulled off of aircraft certified panels because the bulk alcantera rolls available did not match the Ferrari Cuoio leather. Call Arron Laithwaite at Hydes Leather for help. He was great. Sent loads of samples to me and helped me match it all up. Great to work with.
My Shelby Daytona Coupe is the Ferrari that I just could not find in the right color. The idle of the Daytona side pipes and Roush 427 engine with the "two Harleys idling side by side" sound is fantastic but at full throttle it sounds vulgar compared to the scream of the 360/430 engines. Guess you cannot have everything in one car.

 

I think that is a brilliant idea. Cuoio is stunning. Once you fine out where to get it could you share. I’d like my office furniture redone in it.

 

I have Cuoio in my F430 interior. There's an upholstery shop in Santa Paula, CA that has the dye. I had a small scratch in my right door panel and wanted to touch it up. It matches perfectly. Image Unavailable, Please Login c
